The founders of Rasan Group of Companies, namely Dr. Khaled AlHajeri, Mr. Fuad AlHumoud and Mr. Abdulrahman AlKooheji, having long past experience in the Finance & Investment sectors with specialized focus on Islamic Sharia compliant services have decided in the beginning of 2008 to abandon their latest posts working for the International Leasing & Investment Company (ILIC) to form their own group of companies capitalizing on their long successful track record, wide investors base and well known connections.
Definition of Rasan
RASAN, in Arabic language - has different meanings but all are related to the Arabian horse. The origin of the Arabian horse remains a great zoological mystery. This unique breed has had a distinctive national identity for centuries, unparalleled beauty, a rich history and a unique ability to bond with their owners.
The following pertains to the meaning of Rasan:
- Descent or family root of the Arabian horse.
- It is the horses' pedigree.
- "Rasan" for horses is the same as "Tribe" for people.
- Rasan normally refers to the horse's nickname to ensure its conformity within its breed.
- It may sometimes refer to the lead or rope that is fixed around a horse's head used normally by the rider to control the speed of the horse.
